When the player has instructed a colony to [[Swarm]] a swarming colony is created near the colony after some time.
A swarming colony is used to [[Found New Colony]] or to [[Colonize]] an existing [[Nest]] .


Any user in the same [[Species]] may [[Pick Up]] it if they have space in [[Inventory]].
When you start the game and select a species you get 2 swarming colonies.
Normally you obtain new ones by ordering a [[Controlled Colony]] to [[Swarm]] and a swarming colony is created near the colony after some time.


A swarming colony is used to start a new [[Colony]] in an empty [[Nest]].
Any allied player, in the same [[Species]], may [[Pick Up]] it if they have space in [[Inventory]] and enemy players may kill Swarming Colonies on the ground.


If a swarming colony is not picked up after a longer time period it will die.
If a swarming colony is not picked up after a longer time period it will die.
If you have no swarming colony and for some reason may not order a controlled colony to swarm and pick it up you may [[Get Free Swarm]] also.
