There a several Destroy actions.
Destroy empty Nest
If this action is performed on an empty nest, that have been inhabited at least once, it turned into a nest Ruin. If the nest never has been inhabited it will be removed.
Destroy items (for example swarming enemy colonies) on ground
Destroys the item completely.
