This causes a drop in population and food and a Swarming Colony will appear on the ground near the colony after some time.
Note that the swarming colony, once released, may be picked by any allied player or destroyed by enemy players.
The swarm slowly move away from the colony. If no one picks up the swarm it either die or try to found a colony for the independent Species
