This is other games ideas. I.e. not part of Color Planet Resources
Basic idea
Fulfill missions by finding locations. Alone, in group or all.
You gather score and there is a list of the score of all players.
Missions
Finding locations
Always two options if one is in some inaccessible location.
Idea: Use db of existing locations from all games where people have been? (this way I should avoid inaccessible areas)
All locations must be found to get the score.
Will visitor number two to a location gain something? Yes, I think so, but not as much as number one.
Triggering missions
Manually triggered, when you have time to play or triggered by system. The latter gives more score.
Missions for who?
Alone missions
- One location, in some hundred meters, in one hour. 1 points.
- N locations, exploration, in N hours, 1+2+...+N points. But you must finish all of them.
Group missions
Some people cooperatate and say: We want a mission of difficulty N.
All must fulfill for anyone to get any score.
All players missions
Only system triggered.
Idea: This might include recruiting some new player finding a new location?
Types of missions
Find all
No matter order.
Exploration
You only see one, and when found you will see the next one.
Client
The client must work even if it don't have internet at the moment. Be able to sync later, but must still be within time.
Map and active missions list, Chat, Score list, History of who did what, Help.
Ideas
Gather "Symbols" or something. In order to make people talk to each other during the mission. They find a letter or something. One symbol is inserted at the next one to get the correct one in the end?
Some risk that they don't get the correct symbol when they are not close enough? At least one player must have found the correct one?
